The Syngenta Foundation published this report about the use of mobile applications in agriculture especially in the developing world. The main feature of the report is an inventory of current mobile applications in agriculture and an assessment of the potential of mobile applications role to strengthen existing development efforts. The first half of the document gives a conceptual framework which helps to evaluate, plan and asses mobile applications. The second half of the report contains a comprehensive overview of mAgriculture service and projects, clustered by the type of service provided and this section is a pretty good resource for everyone who is involved in mAgriculture projects in developing countries.
