The Civil Society and Indigenous Peoples’ Mechanism (CSIPM) for relations with the CFS and the International Panel of Experts on Sustainable Food Systems (IPES-Food) is organising the webinar “Strengthening Food Security and Resilience through Territorial Markets in Urban and Peri-Urban areas”.

In the context of the UN Committee on World Food Security (CFS) policy convergence process on Strengthening Urban and Peri-Urban Food Systems, the webinar will bring together speakers from the CSIPM, IPES-Food and local governments who will highlight strengths and challenges for territorial markets in urban and peri-urban settings, and the ways in which member states can support their essential role in food security and resilience going forward.
