For over 40 years, inclusive rural finance activities at IFAD have actively involved the private sector engagement to the benefit of smallholders and rural agri-enterprise, and supported inclusive rural economic development. These private sector partnerships have benefitted over 14 million IFAD beneficiaries around the world, improving their income generation, climate resilience, productivity, market access and more.
The Inclusive Rural Finance (IRF) Network and FARM-D (hosted by PARM) are co-organizing a webinar with IFAD Programme Management Units representatives who will share insights on the challenges and role of the private sector in the development of inclusive rural finance programmes.
