This knowledge café aims to identify some ways of harnessing AI and machine learning for transformative African knowledge hubs that can unlock the potential of the agricultural sector, contributing to food security, economic growth, and sustainable development. Specific objectives of the café are to:

  • Capture the general knowledge on the concept of k-hub;
  • Assess the current state of the Knowledge hubs within the Africa Agricultural Regional and Sub-Regional Organization;
  • Explore key issues affecting the KM4Ag hubs in Africa; and
  • Assess how AI and ML can enhance/improve dissemination of information in Knowledge Hubs to reach the last mile.
