The UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration (2021–2030) calls for urgent global action to reverse ecosystem degradation. Forest and Landscape Restoration (FLR) is central to this effort, and young professionals are increasingly shaping restoration initiatives worldwide.

This webinar will spotlight four young professionals working across diverse areas of restoration, showcasing how they combine technical expertise and on-the-ground experience with personal insights.

It will highlight their contributions, explore what drives their engagement, and present innovative solutions that use science, technology, and inclusive approaches to overcome barriers and scale up restoration efforts.

Why attend?

  1. Learn about the work that young professionals are implementing and advancing on the ground, from policy and financing to community-based restoration and innovation.

  2. Hear inspiring stories and lessons learned from their experiences in different countries and contexts.

  3. Participate in an interactive workshop to share ideas and map pathways for integrating innovation into FLR.
