INFOPESCA is a Latin American intergovernmental organization, registered under number 31660 in the United Nations Register of International Treaties and Agreements. It has a vocation to serve governments, sectoral associations and companies, in all aspects of fisheries and aquaculture development. Its particularity is in tackling various production, industrialization and marketing projects, always keeping in mind a marketing concept, that is, aimed at the market.
It is made up of member countries of Latin America and the Caribbean; However, INFOPESCA does not limit its activities to the framework of the region, but also transfers the knowledge and experience generated in Latin American and Caribbean fisheries and aquaculture to the entire world.
INFOPESCA has competence in the sectors of Development Strategies, Production, Processing Technology, Inspection and Quality Control and Marketing of fishery and aquaculture products.
