Abstract

This document represents the final report of project R6757, “Soil fertility management for sustainable hillside farming systems in Nepal”, which aimed to determine the factors influencing the maintenance of soil fertility in the mid-hills of Nepal and to develop better means of sustaining fertility. The report describes project activities and outputs, most notably a better understanding of the soil fertility limitations to crop production in a range of cropping systems.
