Smallholder Coffee Commercialisationin Malawi.

Abstract

The smallholder coffee sector in Malawi has undergone major reforms in recent years. There is anecdotal evidence that these reforms have empowered smallholder farmers to run their own affairs and created a commercial orientation among small farmers. This briefing considers the evidence.
