Taking a client-focused approach to developing inclusive rural finance is not only crucial for optimizing the economic activities of the beneficiaries but is also essential for the sustainability of the service offered. However, the development of inclusive rural finance services is still hampered with numerous challenges due to an insufficient demand analysis and shrinking design budgets. In this context, and given the difficulties in assessing beneficiary demand, it is essential to identify solutions for effectively understanding recipients’ financial needs.
The Inclusive Rural Finance (IRF) Network and FARM-D (hosted by PARM) are co-organizing a webinar with IFAD leading experts to present how IFAD assesses demand for inclusive rural finance and to discuss possible approaches to develop tailored projects.
