Sugarcane harvesting delay may crush wheat yield in Uttar Pradesh

The Economic Times (Nov. 7, 2013) | A delay in sugarcane harvesting across Uttar Pradesh could lead to a 1-2 % drop in wheat sowing in the country. Of the 29 million hectare sown under wheat, 9.6 million hectare is in Uttar Pradesh.
