IBN Live (Apr. 9, 2012) | National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) today said it expects to double its concessional lending towards building new warehouses for food grain storage to Rs 500 crore in Punjab. “We anticipate that the lending for creation of new storage godowns will be doubled to Rs 500 crore in Punjab under NABARD Warehousing (Refinance) Scheme 2012 after the raise in allocation in Union Budget,” NABARD, Chief General Manager Krishan Jindal told reporters here today.
