During the caravan carried out in the Center-East and North of the Burundian country whose objective was to evaluate the investments made by women grouped in cooperatives through the lending offered by the Women’s Investment and Development Bank BANQUE D’INVESTISSEMENT ET DE DEVELOPPEMENT POUR LES FEMMES “BIDF sp”. Obviously, the producer especially the women face to various difficulties in his exploitation linked to the complexities of nature and unforeseen climate change, access to quality inputs in real time, market twists often containing during the periods of intense harvest, the challenges of access to financial services adapted to affordable costs such as savings and credit as well as the availability of information. In my opinion, all these challenges should be brought to the decision-makers in order to take adequate measures in the perspective of evicting them, putting in place the relevant tools and planning appropriate harvests for the next investments. This will allow the community to increase production and the resilience of the populations! #AgriculturalValueChains #CapacityDevelopKnowledgeManagement #ClimateAndEnvironment #GenderYouthSocialInclusion #RuralFinanceInsurance
