The capacity building for small-scale farmers is important. In fact, farmers can learn about the hazards that can threaten their day-to-day activities. Then, this knowledge helps them to regain awareness, prevent, protect and consolidate their properties against risks. Then, they become adept at anticipating and identifying the various mitigation mechanisms (such as protection, adaptation, the necessary resources) to improve their production to satisfy community well-being, and also contribute to the economic circuit by feeding the agricultural industry, employment, marketing and increasing household income. Lastly, capacity-building for small-scale farmers makes an effective contribution to the identification of agricultural risk mitigation measures.
