Agricultural risk management provides a bridge connecting the complexity between food production and environmental management. Faced with population growth, certain aspects deserve particular attention which can slow down the management of agricultural risks: 1. increase in production to ensure food satisfaction following this consumer growth. 2. and the protection of the earth, environment to ensure an ecosystem favorable to biodiversity. What should be noted is that rudimentary mass production crowds out naturally spare spaces. Sometimes we must admit that mass exploitation of land shows a tendency to reduce wetlands which favored biodiversity. it is in particular the wetlands and forests which sheltered birds and other species in the process of disappearing (or simply on the run). FARM-D must act to raise awareness among stakeholders on this subject in order to adopt strategies relating to the control of production spaces and demography while preserving the environment and biodiversity. #ClimateAndEnvironment #AgriculturalValueChains
